Senior/Mid Developer Data Scientist

Location: Belgrade, Serbia | Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior and/or Mid Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years for Seniors 2 years for Mid Level of experience in Software development, with a strong background and experience with Back-End Development Technologies having strong to good experience and exposure to B.E Frameworks like Elastic Search in Kybernetes, Graph QL, DB, scripting in Python. Overall understanding in the FrontEnd Technologies like Flutter (Google F.E Framework). The successful candidate will be eager to expand their expertise into other UI frameworks, with a particular interest in Mobile Apps.

Responsibilities

Develop and Maintain Frameworks and Interfaces:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance user interfaces using Python to optimize and maintain Elastic scripts, Graph QL to fetch and analyze big data mindful of ML and LLM.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of designs and its performance.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaborate and Communicate:
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create a cohesive user experience.
• Collaborate with other back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and backend functionalities.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.

Lead and Mentor:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Expand Technical Expertise:
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in SW development within said domains like Kybernetes, Graph db, microservices, native cloud technologies etc.
• Actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge and expertise in other frameworks, particularly GRAPH QL, Elastic Searches and optimization techniques.

Troubleshoot and Debug:
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across multiple browsers and platforms.

Automated UI Testing:
• Develop and implement automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of user interfaces.
• Maintain and update automated testing frameworks and tools.

Qualifications:
• Strong proficiency in Elastic Search techniques, Graph QL and React Python.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Flutter and related web technologies.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience in automated UI testing and related tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in direct communication with clients to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

Experience and Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python/Elastic Search/Graph db and UI understanding. This experience level is for Serious Seniors.
• Mid-Level 2-3 years professional experience in Python/Elastic Search/Graph db and UI understanding

Desirable Skills:
• Experience or interest in Python programming, Graph scripting and optimization.
• Familiarity with other UI frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
